U ponedjeljak popodne buknuo je požar u 850 godina staroj čuvenoj pariškoj katedrali Notre Dame.
Uzrok požara još nije poznat, ali vlasti kažu kako bi mogao biti u vezi s radovima na obnovi katedrale.
Na snimkama koje se šire društvenim mrežama vidi se snažan plamen i gusti dim koji se uzdiže iz katedrale. Na terenu su vatrogasci.
Svjedoci su Reutersu rekli da je vatra zahvatila dva zvonika.
Katolička crkva u Francuskoj prošle je godine snažno apelirala da se prikupe sredstva za obnovu katedrale koja se počela osipati, a koju svake godine posjeti oko 13 milijuna turista.
